OSI Systems awarded a $200 million US CBP Contract for passenger vehicle inspection systems.

OSI Systems has announced that its Rapiscan Security division was awarded a five-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling of approximately $200 million from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to provide its relocatable Rapiscan® passenger vehicle inspection systems. An initial task order under the contract covers the first systems along with associated service and training.

OSI Systems’ President and CEO, Ajay Mehra, commented, “This award allows for our continuing support to CBP by providing one of our most advanced vehicle screening systems. Rapiscan’s relocatable inspection system provides operators the flexibility to shift resources as their requirements evolve, and we are proud to support CBP in strengthening our nation’s borders and the protection of our critical infrastructure.”
