A drug trafficking network that distributed drugs throughout Spain has been dismantled in Madrid

The Civil Guard has managed to dismantle a criminal group, made up of six people who were dedicated to the distribution of large quantities of narcotics throughout Spain.

The investigation began in July 2025, when a group of people were detected distributing significant quantities of cocaine in the Community of Madrid and other Spanish provinces.

Thanks to the initial investigation, a house was located in the town of San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid), where drugs were allegedly being delivered to other distribution groups. As the investigation progressed, the role of each member of the organization was clearly identified, and it was discovered that a man based in Madrid was the leader of the criminal group.

Daycare and vehicles with double bottoms

The organization had a drug transport network throughout Spain using vehicles equipped with false bottoms to store and hide both the drugs and the money obtained illegally.

Thanks to the advances in the investigation, a house used as a “nursery” was located in Arganda del Rey, where a large quantity of narcotic substances was stored and which also had strong security measures.

Finally, the operation, carried out in two phases, culminated in four raids in Arganda del Rey, San Sebastián de los Reyes and Madrid, where 179 kilos of cocaine, 45 kilos of hashish, 244,860 euros in cash, as well as three loaded handguns and a hunting shotgun were seized.

Six people were also arrested for their alleged involvement in crimes against public health, illegal possession of weapons and belonging to a criminal group.

After being brought before the court, all those involved were ordered to be held in pretrial detention.
