Ms. Suzanne Vatov is a Programme Officer in the Terrorism Prevention Branch (TPB) of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), based in Vienna, Austria. As part of its mandate, UNODC/TPB delivers technical assistance to member States to strengthen criminal justice responses to terrorism and enhance international cooperation mechanisms. Her expertise encompasses the legal aspects of passenger data, border security, data protection, and maritime counterterrorism. She provides legal technical assistance for the implementation of international standards and obligations, including transport-related international legal instruments against terrorism and the development of regulations and technical guidelines facilitating information exchange, in line with international standards, and human rights.
