Under the direct supervision of the Head of Section and/or Head of Office (HoO), monitor, mentor and advise strategic and management levels of the kosovo Customs (KC), the kosovo Border Police (KPB), the kosovo Food and Veterinary Agency, and the National Integrated Border Management (IBM) Coordinator, in meeting the requirements of the Kosovo National IBM Strategy and Action Plan. To assist the Head of Section in coordinating the sub-section’s activities, where required.

1) National coordination and development of the Integrated Border Management strategies (national and international level), 2) Alternate member of Finland at High Level Working Group for Integrated Border Management (EU-level), 3) European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) cooperation and coordination (Head of National Point of Contact, Management Board), 4) Owner of the European Rapid Deployment pools of Finland, 5) Negotiations and meetings at EU-level, 6) National coordination of Schengen acquis (e.g. EU- and international legislation) and Schengen evaluation mechanism, 7) EU-trainer of Schengen Evaluation Mechanism and IBM.
