Ms Eun Jung Yi is a border and migration management specialist, working across Asia–Pacific and beyond on transnational crime, irregular migration, and aviation border security. She currently serves at the Regional Support Office of the Bali Process, where she leads strategic initiatives supporting 45 Member States to strengthen operational cooperation against people smuggling and trafficking in persons. Eun focuses on advancing approaches in traveller assessment, document examination, risk profiling, intelligence-led targeting, and victim identification at air borders.
Eun is known for building trusted cross-border networks among operational counterparts. She regularly convenes senior and frontline officials from Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Pacific, and partner countries including Australia, Canada, the UK, and the Middle East.
Her interest also extends to the evolving role of technology in border management, including biometric systems, identity management, and digital tools.

In the spirit of interagency cooperation this workshop will facilitate the sharing of on the ground experience, real life case studies and share actionable intelligence on the movement of trafficked human beings via planes , boats and vehicles and the various methods by which the traffickers enable this movement.
