Dr Kirill Amelin works at DefSecIntel Solutions, an Estonian company specializing in the development of autonomous surveillance solutions and counter-UAS. He contributes to defence technology research and development through participation in international research projects and by supporting product development within the company. With a focus on radio communication and radar technologies, he is also involved in the integration of multi-modal systems and the development of data exchange capabilities. Previously, Dr Amelin worked as an engineer in the telecommunications industry and as a junior researcher at the National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics, where he conducted solid-state spectroscopy at cryogenic temperatures to study magnetic interactions. He holds a PhD in Applied Physics from Tallinn University of Technology.
