Milan Aleksic has been working with the NGO Atina from Belgrade for many years as a researcher and analyst. This organization is active in the fight against human trafficking and providing support to victims. Milan Aleksic is interested in the topics of combating human trafficking, prosecuting this crime, issues of gender equality, then migration, and providing support to vulnerable groups of refugees and migrants. He especially monitors the legislative framework in Serbia in these areas and participated in the processes of drafting several strategic and normative acts related to these topics. He also participated in the creation of several researches and publications in the areas of combating human trafficking and improving the position of refugees and migrants.

    Identity Verification is self-evidently the key to effective border management. For all border agencies, verify each person’s identity against government databases determines whether an individual is welcome into a country or not. Morphed photo: Use of a morphed image in a genuine document, allowing two individuals to share the same passport. Counterfeit: The complete fake reproduction of a genuine document made with non-genuine materials or using parts of genuine documents. How do we accurately verify documents using the tools available such as biometrics and digital signatures, encryption and watermarking.
