Babatunde Olomu is a General Duty Officer (GD) with the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS). The NCS is the lead Border Agency in Nigeria charged with the responsibility of anti-smuggling operations, generation of revenue and facilitation of legitimate trade, alongside other agency responsibilities relating to securing the 923,768 sq km of the Nigerian border.
His over 26 years’ experience at the NCS has afforded him the opportunity of working at various land borders, seaports, airports and the Customs Intelligence Unit, all added to a nine years stint at the Customs Headquarters in Abuja – FCT.
He holds a BSC in Political Science, MPA, MSC in International Relations, a Doctorate Degree in International Relations and is presently working on his pre-field as requirement for award of a Phd in Peace and Conflict Studies at the Prestigious Babcock University in Nigeria.
