Dr Maria Carmela Emanuele is a chemist and is currently working as a customs officer in Rome (Italy) in Quality Team and NMR Laboratory. In collaboration with JRC (Joint Research Center), University of Rome “La Sapienza” and Italian Customs Agency (ADM), she is attending for PhD in LF-NMR about “Characterization and identification of products for customs purposes”. Graduated with Honors in Chemistry at “La Sapienza” University in 1995, she has worked as fellow researcher at Genoa University and at the CNR (RM) for 4 years, publishing a total of 19 scientific papers, as well as for 22 years in food producing companies as a control and quality system responsible person.
