Capt. Paul Gregg

Captain Gregg works for the Assistant Commandant for Response Policy, under the Deputy Commandant for Operations Policy, at Coast Guard Headquarters. As the Director for Law Enforcement, Maritime Security, and Defense Operations Policy, he is responsible for policy development for multiple Coast Guard missions, including drug interdiction, migrant interdiction, fisheries enforcement, ports waterways and coastal security, as well as Coast Guard support to defense operations. Captain Gregg has served in the Coast Guard for nearly 30 years, including 10 years at sea, assigned to six ships and commanding three. Captain Gregg is a licensed Professional Engineer with both a BS and MS in Civil Engineering, as well as an MS in National Security Strategy from National Defense University.
